Description
The following merit scholarship is available to international students in the first year.
Benefits
They award eligible students discounts of £1,500 for each A* grade above the standard course offer up to a maximum of £4,500.
For example, if you need A, A and B in your A levels and you get A*, A and A, you will get £1,500 towards your first-year tuition fees.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a scholarship you must:
- need to pay the overseas tuition fee
- have a conditional or unconditional offer to study an eligible course
- be starting in Year 1 of an eligible course
For scholarships offered by the University of Southampton Business School, the School of Physics and Astronomy, the School of Mathematics and Southampton Law School, you must both exceed your offer and achieve either:
- an A level A* grade
- an International Baccalaureate grade 7 at Higher level
- equivalent qualifications
