The Young Adult Carer’s Bursary provides financial support to eligible UK undergraduate students aged 18–25 who have caring responsibilities.

Description

The bursary supports students who were registered carers before beginning their course. Students who become young adult carers while studying at the University may also apply.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must have:

  • A household income below £35,000.
  • Been in receipt of Carers' Allowance prior to the start of the course or engaged with your local Carer's Centre or YAC Services as a registered carer. You must produce evidence to confirm this.
