Description
Students who are in receipt of a full or partial Maintenance Loan and have a household income below the relevant threshold specified in the eligibility criteria will be awarded a scholarship.
Benefits
Each award of £500 will be paid in three instalments across the academic year, subject to satisfactory attendance.
Eligibility
- Student must be in receipt of a full or partial maintenance loan and:
- Commenced their programme for the first time between 2016/17 and 2024/25, and have a household income of less than £45,875orCommenced their programme for the first time in academic year 2025/26 and have a household income of less than £25,000
- Must be paying tuition fees of £9,535
- Students must not have previously completed university-level education.
- Students should be aware that any change of circumstance, personal or study-related, may lead to reassessment by SLC and subsequent change in eligibility of the University of Lincoln Support Package.
- Students on Certificate of Higher Education programmes where there is no automatic progression route onto a degree programme are not eligible. Students repeating a year of study are not eligible.

You do not need to make an application for the University of Lincoln Scholarship. We use the assessment carried out by your funding authority in order to ascertain the household income levels which determine the amount of scholarship you are awarded. In order for us to see this data, when you apply for your student finance you and your sponsors must allow their information to be shared.
