Description
The bursary is intended to reduce financial barriers associated with compulsory or eligible placements, such as travel, accommodation and other placement-related expenses. Awards are subject to eligibility criteria and available funding.

Eligibility
You will be invited to apply for the Placement Bursary if you:
- are a UK or 'home' fee status student,
- are paying the University's placement year fee (or are in receipt of a tuition fee loan to cover this amount),
- were means-tested by Student Finance England (or similar) with a household income of £62,410 or below,
- are enrolled on a placement year, and
- are undertaking a placement that has been approved by the university.
