The North America Future Leaders Award supports outstanding international undergraduate students from the United States and Canada commencing full-time undergraduate study at Queen's University Belfast.

Description

The scholarship is available to new international students beginning a full-time undergraduate degree. Applicants must demonstrate leadership through community service, volunteering, sport, extracurricular activities or other initiatives and are appointed as North America Student Ambassadors if successful.

50% reduction of Year 1 tuition fees.

Eligibility

  • The North America Future Leaders Award is exclusively for new international students domiciled in the USA or Canada.
  • Students must have applied to Queen’s University and have received an offer of study for a place on a full-time undergraduate programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus, starting in the academic year and prior to commencement of study have met any academic conditions attached to their offer as stated in their offer letter.
  • Students must have accepted their offer to study at Queen's University Belfast.
  • Students must be classified as international fee-paying students paying the full international tuition fee rate with their domicile being the USA or Canada in order to be considered for this scholarship. Students paying NI or GB fees are not eligible for this scholarship.

Submit a short video outlining your leadership experience and aspirations (no more than 2 mins).

Complete the short online application form for the award.

Provide a short reference from a teacher, school counselor, or community leader.
