Description
The bursary is funded by donations from Keele University supporters and is intended to reduce financial barriers for students completing curricular or Keele-brokered extracurricular placements. It is non-means-tested and is available for both paid and unpaid placements. The award is paid as a single instalment and is processed automatically.
Benefits
£200 for placements lasting 360–504 hours.
£500 for placements lasting more than 504 hours.
Eligibility
- Students undertaking a curricular or extra-curricular Keele brokered placement from any year can receive the bursary, which will be paid in a single instalment, and you can still receive the bursary if you will be undertaking a paid placement.
- Please note that, unfortunately, students from the Faculty of Health and those taking mandatory placements are unable to receive the bursary.
