Description
These bursaries are designed to support students who have experience of local authority care and are transitioning into higher education.
Benefits
£500 one-off Transition Bursary.
£1,800 Annual Support Bursary for each academic year of study.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a care leaver.
- Have been in the care of, or provided accommodation by, a Local Authority for at least 13 weeks before the age of 16.
- Not have reconciled with their parents between leaving care and starting their course.
- Meet the University's eligibility requirements for the bursary.
