Description
The ICAEW Bursary – Albert Gubay Business School is funded by the ICAEW Foundation and offered through Bangor University's Albert Gubay Business School. It is available to one undergraduate student enrolled on the BSc Accounting and Finance degree programme. The bursary provides financial support throughout the three-year programme to encourage talented students from lower-income backgrounds to pursue a career in accounting and finance.
Benefits
The bursary provides £12,000 over three years, paid as £4,000 per year, to help with study-related and living costs.
Eligibility
- Must have applied for and enrol on the BSc Accounting and Finance programme at Bangor University.
- Must have a taxable household income of £25,000 or less.
- Must start the course in September.
- Deferred entry applicants are not eligible.
- Must be a UK (Home) applicant.

Once enrolled at Bangor University, eligible BSc Accounting and Finance students will be invited automatically to complete the bursary application form. A separate application is required after enrolment.
