Description
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Undergraduate Equity Scholarships in History supports current and commencing undergraduate students studying a major in history at the faculty.
Benefits
A recipient enrolled full-time will receive the scholarship valued at $5,000 per annum. While a recipient enrolled part-time will receive the scholarship valued at $2,500 per annum.
A commencing student enrolled full-time will receive the Scholarship for up to 4 years. While a commencing enrolled part-time will receive the scholarship for up to 8 years.
A continuing student enrolled full-time will receive the scholarship for up to 1 year. While a continuing student enrolled part-time will receive the scholarship for up to 2 years.
Eligibility
You must:
- have an unconditional offer of admission or being currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
- major in history
- be from a low socio-economic background, live in a regional or rural area, or identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person as defined in the University of Sydney’s Confirmation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identity Policy 2015.
