Description

This Scholarship was founded in 1898 from a bequest from Thomas Garton of Clapham, London. The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to an undergraduate student studying in their second year of the beginners/introductory pathway in German.

Benefits

The scholarship is valued at $6,500 per annum and is tenable for one year.

Eligibility

You must:

  • be enrolled full-time in your second year of an undergraduate degree at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
  • be enrolled in at least 12 credit points of German studies 2000-level or 3000-level units in the second year of the applicable degree.
