Description
The New Zealand Universities Award – Vietnam was established in 2025 to support Education New Zealand | Manapou ki te Ao priorities to strengthen relationships between New Zealand and Vietnamese agents and provides and to grow the number of high caliber students from Vietnam studying at tertiary level in New Zealand.
Benefits
The Scholarships are tuition fees credits paid in NZD, have a value of $15,000. A maximum of three scholarships will be awarded each year.
Eligibility
- Have applied for the NZUA Scholarship through the ENZ platform, and had their application forwarded to the International and Engagement Office.
- Be a citizen of Vietnam.
- Be applying to enrol full-time in an undergraduate programme, as a new international student to the University of Waikato.
- Have received a conditional or unconditional offer of place from the University of Waikato.
- Have a minimum GPA equivalency of B+ in the qualification used to gain entrance to the University of Waikato.
