Description
Each year, the ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy may offer an award known as the Phillipa Weeks Scholarship in Law.
The objective of the Award is to support rural, regional and remote students who want to attend ANU to obtain a degree in Law. The Award aims to offset some of the financial burden of attendance at law school.

The value of the Award is stated in your letter of offer. The Award is paid in a one-off instalment upon accepting the Award unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.
The recipient is responsible for making payment of all tuition fees by the prescribed date as set out by the University each session. Recipients of the Award are responsible for the costs of books, study materials, accommodation and all other costs of study.
Eligibility
The Award is available each year to a commencing ANU student who:
- is a citizen or permanent resident of Australia;
- receives an offer of admission to the award of the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree whether undertaken as a single or flexible double degree in the ANU College of Law; and
- is a school leaver and has undertaken the final two years of their secondary schooling in a regional or remote area of Australia as determined by the geographical classification defined by the Australian Statistical Geography Standard.
