Juel Hickman Shannon Smith Endowed Scholarship is offered to undergraduate students, pursuing a major in Africana Studies.

Eligibility

Full-time undergraduate students, pursuing a major in Africana Studies (Institute of Black Life/Center for Africa) or a major in Elementary Education in the College of Education on the Tampa campus.
Preference will be given to African Americans and female students.

Requires personal statement, student resume and an essay that describes your major, career plans, examples of how you have given back or plan to give back to the black community and/or any involvement with the USF Institute on Black Life.

You must activate your USF NetID and email in order to login to the scholarship application and begin applying for scholarships.

Meeting the May 15 priority date allows you the best opportunity to be considered for the most aid types possible.
