Description

Australian National University  can support you financially if you are admitted to one of its study programmes as an international student.

Australian National University awards scholarships, bursaries, tuition fee reductions and discounts that help you cover existing tuition and living costs.

Eligibility

The award is available to a continuing ANU student who:

  • is a domestic or international student;
  • Is enrolled in an undergraduate degree in mathematics and/or statistics (including the Bachelor of Mathematical Science, the Bachelor of Statistics, or a Bachelor of Science with a significant mathematical and/or statistical component, as determined by the Selection Committee);
  • has completed a minimum of 48 units and a maximum of 96 units of their degree course;
  • can demonstrate a history of excellent academic performance in their undergraduate degree program.

Selection

The selection committee will consider academic merit, ATAR, participation in mathematics competitions, awards, equity and access including financial need, disability, indigenous, regional and rural.

Preference may be given to applicants enrolled in the Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences with a research interest in statistics.
