Description
The Memphis in May organization, and the IS program, are pleased to be able to offer the Annual Memphis In May Scholarship.
Benefits
The scholarship amount is c. $1,500 for one academic year, which can be used to offset either academic expenses or funding a study abroad experience.
Eligibility
- Scholarship recipients must be students majoring in International Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Full-time status (12 or more credit hours) must also be maintained.
- Preference will be given to students of Memphis and Shelby County with a record of academic success and past and present involvement in the Memphis community through service and outreach.

Application for the Memphis In May International Studies Scholarship is made through the Tiger Scholarship Manager program which is accessible through the University student portal or by visiting the Scholarship Office web site, and clicking on the Tiger Scholarship Manager tab at the top of the page. The application period typically begins in mid-November and runs through the end of January. Exact dates are provided on the scholarship web site. Award decisions are typically made in April for the next academic year.
