Description
Australian National University can support you financially if you are admitted to one of its study programmes as an international student.
Australian National University awards scholarships, bursaries, tuition fee reductions and discounts that help you cover existing tuition and living costs.
Benefits
The scholarship provides students with support to the value of $15000 per annum for the duration of a standard undergraduate program (i.e 3 years full time for a single undergraduate degree or 4 years full time for flexible or vertical double degree).
The recipient will also be provided with pastoral support from the Tjabal Centre, and/or the Manager, Education Services within the College. The award is paid in consultation with the recipient, which may include a bi-annual payment (after census date), direct tuition fee payment, or accommodation payment, unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.
Eligibility
The Award is available each year to a prospective ANU student who:
- is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; and
- identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person;
- is recognised as such by their community; and
- receives an offer of admission to an undergraduate degree program offered by the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific.

All students applying directly to ANU for admission and who elect to be considered for scholarships will be assessed for this Award if they meet the eligibility criteria.
Where there are no eligible direct applicants or where the pool of eligible direct applicants has been exhausted, the Award may be offered to an eligible student applying for admission via the University Admissions Centre (UAC).
