Description

Australian National University  can support you financially if you are admitted to one of its study programmes as an international student.

Australian National University awards scholarships, bursaries, tuition fee reductions and discounts that help you cover existing tuition and living costs. 

Benefits

The scholarship provides a stipend of $5,000 per annum for up to 3 years.  The scholarship is paid at the beginning of each semester subject to the recipient meeting ongpoing academic and enrolment requirements.

 

Eligibility

The award is available each year to a prospective or current ANU student who:

  • is an Australian citizen; and
  • is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; and
  • identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person; and
  • is accepted as such by the community in which they live, or formerly lived; and
  • is enrolled in, or receives an offer into any Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM) related undergraduate degree program.  Clinical, Health and Human Sciences will be considered, but STEM courses will remain a priority.

Eligible candidates will be considered by submitting a statement of between 500 - 600 words outlining:

  • your passion for STEM
  • a passion, ability and initiative in your approach to study; and 
  • your interest in the work and research undertaken by the  CSIRO.
