Description
Australian National University can support you financially if you are admitted to one of its study programmes as an international student.
Australian National University awards scholarships, bursaries, tuition fee reductions and discounts that help you cover existing tuition and living costs.
Benefits
The scholarship provides $5,000 per annum for up to 5 years to assist with educational and living expenses. The scholarship is paid at the beginning of each semester subject to the recipients meeting ongoing eligibility requirements as outlined in the conditions of award.
Eligibility
Selection is made on the basis of applicants meeting the eligibility criteria. Other factors may be taken into account where they align with the University's strategic objectives to ensure a diverse student cohort such as applicants who have received adjustment factors for a combination of disadvantages.
Where there are multiple applicants who meet the eligibility criteria, preference will be given (in order of priority) to applicants who:
- receive adjustment factors for excessive family responsibilities;
- receive adjustment factors for school environment (rural school, distance education/ Access program);
- receive adjustment factors for financial hardship;
- are Indigenous; or
- receive adjustment factors for Refugee status; or
- receive adjustment factors for multiple disadvantages.
