Description
Each three to five years, the ANU College of Business and Economics (‘the College’) may offer an award known as the Bhavita Patel Undergraduate Scholarship (‘the Award’).
The objectives of the Award are to improve access to tertiary education for students who may not otherwise be able to attend ANU, to recognise and reward academic excellence and students who demonstrate a passion for learning and a commitment to community.
Benefits
The value of the Award is stated in your letter of offer. The duration of the Award is for up to five years. The Award payment will align to the recipient’s academic study load. For example, 24 units’ enrolment constitutes 100% of the award payment; 18 units constitutes 75% of the award payment, etc. The Award is paid in equal instalments at the beginning of semester unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.
Eligibility
The Award is available each three to five years to a commencing ANU student who:
- is a domestic student; and
- is a current school leaver, aged 20 years or younger at the time of application; and
- receives an offer of admission and will enrol to an undergraduate program offered by the College; and
- is eligible for and has received adjustment
A recipient of this Award is required to enrol in a minimum of 6 units each semester in a program offered by the College. Recipients are expected to pass all enrolled courses each semester.
