Description
The Young Achievers Residential Scholarship is a partnership between UQ and St John’s College to support Young Achievers to access higher education with a contribution to residential costs.
Benefits
$6,000 (subject to the annual distribution from the relevant fund and may be more or less in some years) towards accommodation fees
Eligibility
You're eligible if you:
- are part of the UQ Young Achievers program
- are a domestic student
- can demonstrate financial need
- are enrolled, or intend to enrol, in an approved program in the year the scholarship is awarded
- are, or intend to be, a resident at an approved accommodation provider
- meet any other eligibility criteria as specified in the named Addenda

QTAC or UQ number
evidence of financial hardship such as Centrelink statements, ATO statements, family income, or a personal statement.
