Description

This scholarship was established as a prize in 1998 by the University of Canterbury Students' Association, in recognition of the many years of service to the Association of Lloyd Lilley, a Life Member, who served the Association from 1981 to 2004. In 2001, in consultation with Mr Lilley, the regulations were amended to allow awarding as a scholarship.

Financial assistance at a value of $1,200.

Eligibility

In the year of application (or in previous year if they were on a gap year), applicants must:

  • have been enrolled at either Southland Boys’ High School or Southland Girls’ High School; and
  • have been studying for a University Entrance qualification or equivalent.
