Description
Macquarie has one of the most generous international scholarship programs in Australia.
This includes a wide variety of long and short term opportunities for international students. The range of scholarships available can depend on the country you are from, with other eligibility factors including your field of study and academic or sporting achievements.
Benefits
The Medibank Undergraduate Coursework Scholarship is valued at $2,500 as a one-off payment post-census date of your relevant intake.
Successful applicants will also be granted membership to the Medibank Scholars Network giving access to special events as well as mentoring or training opportunities provided by Medibank.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia).
- Hold a valid Medibank OSHC policy.
- Have completed a minimum of 40 credit points in a Bachelor degree (RPL excluded) at the Macquarie University.
- Demonstrated academic achievement (based on current WAM in course).
- Be a current student with at least 40 credit points remaining to their course.
- Must not be a previous recipient of the Medibank Undergraduate Coursework Scholarship.
- Be willing to attend Medibank Scholars Network events throughout the year including the Welcome Event.
