When selecting our recipients we will consider your academic achievements and artistic ability. We will also take into account your goals in relation to your study at Massey University.

Include the following with your application:
- a portfolio of 6 - 10 images of your artwork
- a 300 word personal statement outlining your interest in contemporary Māori arts, and what you hope to gain from undertaking your study
- a brief statement on your future goals and how these relate to your study
- a copy of your High School results. This should be your NCEA Level 3 results or equivalent
- a reference of support from an appropriately qualified person and/or organisation (e.g., art teacher, Te Reo teacher, dean, principal, gallery director, community leader, kaumatua of the applicant’s Iwi/Hapu/Marae (optional)
- a brief (no more than one page) curriculum vitae (CV) illustrating your academic achievements
