Description

This award is designed to support applicants with a UK 2:2 or equivalent internationally recognised undergraduate qualification, empowering you to advance your education at Brunel University of London.

Benefits

£4,000 tuition fee reduction applied each year for a maximum of one year for full time courses and two years for full-time courses running over two years, (for example, if you enrol on to a two-year full time postgraduate taught or MRes program, the fee reduction will apply to both years of study).

The awards will be paid once for each eligible level of study, subject to normal progression criteria having been met (additional payments will not be made during a repeating year, regardless of the reason for repetition).

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Must have a UK 2:2 or equivalent internationally recognised undergraduate qualification, or a China Dazhuan qualification (75 and 3 years experience).
  • Applicants with a UK 3rd class degree will be considered if held with a verified Masters qualification and will be considered on a case by case basis.
  • Must be classed as an Overseas fee-paying student based on the UK government regulations and be self-funded (not sponsored). Applicants who are unsure of their fee status should note Brunel uses the information they have provided in their application form to assess fee status against regulations set by the UK government. For information on these regulations please visit the independent organisation UKCISA’s website.
  • Must have an offer to study on a full-time postgraduate taught or MRes programme starting in January 2026 of the 2025/26 academic year.
  • Applicants must pay their £5,000 tuition fee deposit by the advisory deadline stated above to secure the fee reduction.
  • All applicants must meet all conditions of their offer by the time they are due to register at Brunel.
  • Applicants who defer their entry from September to January of the same academic year will retain the award.
