Eligibility
The Bertha Sampson Beck Memorial Nursing Scholarship is awarded to students majoring in Nursing within the College of Nursing and Professional Discipline who meet the following criteria:
- Junior or senior;
- Ranked among top 10% in their academic performance;
- Demonstrate high leadership potential by objectives met in clinical;
- Express an interest in literary and cultural subjects (such as a double major or minor, one of which is in liberal arts; liberal arts electives beyond required subjects);
- Demonstrated satisfactory clinical performance through their safe practice techniques, caring approach, and their overall commitment to nursing.
