Eligibility

Applicants for the Tony Parker Scholarship in Industrial Design must be:

  • New Zealand citizens or permanent residents
  • Enrolled or intending to enrol full time at the College of Creative Arts, Wellington
  • Undergraduate applicants need to be majoring in Industrial Design (Hons) with a GPA of 7.5 or above in their previous year of study
  • Postgraduate applicants need to be ready to pursue an industrial design or related research project with a GPA of 7.5 or above in their undergraduate studies.

Include the following with your application:

  • 500 words about your experience as a student, aspirations as an industrial designer and how this award will help you achieve your goals, including how it may help you overcome any economic obstacles to your studies
  • a small portfolio (no more than five A4 pages) of examples of your work, including illustrations, models and prototypes that indicate your abilities in visualisation and form-giving
  • if you are external to Massey, please upload a written reference from a referee who can validate the strength of your application
