International atmosphere in Oslo
Oslo is a very multicultural city. The largest ethnic community belongs to the Pakistanis, followed by Swedes, Somalis, and Poles. Other minorities include people from Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Turkey, Morocco, Iraq and Iran and it seems Oslo is recording a general growth in terms of international immigration.
Several international fairs, conferences and festivities are held in Oslo, probably the most famous is The Nobel Prize Awards.
With a prosperous economy, Oslo has been attracting numerous foreign investment projects and it is home to some of the largest companies in the world.

In Oslo, daylight ranges from around 18 hours in midsummer, to around six hours in midwinter. Oslo has warm summers with average high temperatures of above 20 °C (68 °F), with sometimes exceeding 25 °C (77 °F). In winter, temperatures are usually below freezing 0 °C (30 °F), and sometimes weather could get colder than -10 °C (13 °F).
