The Diagnostic Genetic Sciences at University of Connecticut is available for UConn students in their junior and senior years. Students will apply in the spring semester of their sophomore year as part of a competitive application process. The average class size is 14 students.
The Pathobiology program at University of Connecticut offers three concentrations areas: (1) Pre-Health (Veterinary, Medical, Dental, and Physician Assistant schools), (2) Global Health (Public Health and One Health careers), and (3) Medical Biotechnology (biomedical/biotech industry and research hospitals and medical centers).
