You’ll study music history and literature, music in world cultures, as well as music theory and analysis.

The humanities ask, “What does it mean to be human?” As a student in the humanities degree program, you’ll explore that fundamental question of existence. For answers, you’ll look everywhere from Greek tragedies, postmodern novels and High Renaissance sculpture to pop art, baroque music and contemporary social theories.
