VAMK has no dormitories or any other kind of accommodation arrangements for its students. Students have to take care of the accommodation matters by themselves. The accommodation situation for students in Vaasa is fairly good. The most common way to organize housing is to rent an apartment from VOAS, the Student Housing Foundation in Vaasa. In general, their rents are lower than in the private market, because most of the tenants are students.
Both campuses of VAMK have their own libraries, which can be used by students free of charge. The library’s staff will assist you in accessing the resources required for your studies. The library material includes, for example, course books, reference reading, data bases, electronic reference reading and complementary material mainly in the fields of study. You can get a library card and then take also books home. Ask the library staff, how you can get a card. In the library you can find rules of the library in different languages.

Medical Services: City of Vaasa provides for the healthcare of VAMK students. Students have access to medical services as well as to psychologist services through health centers. Also, a public health nurse is available on both campuses.

Teaching quality is well, good facilities, not so many activities
It has a small campus but there are too many international students and very good teachers. I really am glad that I chose to study here.
I have been studied with a very good studying environment, with friendly classmates and preparing for future career path!
