About

Education

All students who are admitted to study at least 60 credits or more at USN will receive an individual Education Plan. Education Plans are mutually committed to the student and USN. It is not legally binding, but will contain provisions on the institution's responsibility and obligations to the student and the student's obligations to the college and fellow students.

Students enrolled in programmes less than 60 credits, international exchange students, candidates and students who only follow single courses do not receive the individual Education Plans.

The general section is confirmed by each student after their first registration at StudentWeb.

Research

We have organised our strongest research environments into research groups and research centres that reflect our commercial profile and practical approach to research.

USN has particularly strong regional ties and a focus on applied research. All our programmes are research-based, and students are involved in research projects from the early stages of their education.

At USN, we conduct research that is closely linked to our academic programmes. Research is often linked to supervised professional training and the needs of business and industry in our region.
