The Miguel Hernández University of Elche was founded in 1996.

The degree programs include 26 bachelors, 2 dual bachelors, and 50 masters at four campuses, distributed from the north to the south of the province of Alicante, in the municipalities of Altea, Sant Joan d'Alacant, Elche, and Orihuela.

The libraries of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche have a primary vocation and rationale: service to the university community. Therefore, they put at their disposal the resources and documentary and information needed for the development of teaching tools, teaching or research.
Sports facilities
