Upon its foundation, Jacobs University Bremen gGmbH has been state-approved in accordance with §122(1) of the Higher Education Act of the City State of Bremen. In 2001, Jacobs University Bremen has been institutionally accredited by the German Council of Science and Humanities. This accreditation has been renewed in 2008.
My major (Earth and Environmental Science) at Jacobs University is satisfying. Furthermore, one big suggestion was to have more sustainability-related courses as we, within our major, have none. Also sometime the professor should put a little more excitement to the subject as it comes out at very boring sometimes.
Studying at Jacobs is a very challenging as well as amazing experience. The wide range of students from different nations makes the place more vibrant and the professors are really good. The place is secure and is located in a medium sized city called Bremen in northern Germany. Living on campus makes the experience better and I would recommend this University to anybody...
Very good school overall
