History

St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1996 and currently has appr. 1,800 enrolled students. Study opportunities comprise degree programmes and continuing education courses in the fields of Health & Social Sciences, Business and Technology.

Research

Research, development and innovation bear a great reference to teaching. With national and international partners practice oriented projects are worked on.

Housing services

St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences has a number of rooms reserved for exchange students in the student hostels "Campus Domus" and "Wihast". If you wish to live in one of them, tick the student hostel of your choice in the application form. Send the application form to Mag. Irene Auffret as described in the International Student Guide.

Library services

With a current stock of around 35,000 items, the St. Pölten UAS Library offers specialized resources in the fields of media studies, digital media technology, social work, healthcare, physiotherapy, economics and business studies, computer science and security, and rail technology.

ICT services

We are currently looking for new universities in other European countries to join our network. We offer a well-functioning network with people who are committed to internationalisation as an important aspect of social work education. All universities are linked via bilaterial Erasmus agreements to foster the exchange of students and lecturers.

I would highly recommend the University of Applied Sciences to students with a clear focus on their goals and a preferred job in the field of media or marketing. It is a very innovative programme which is focused on a highly practical approach.
