Founded in 2004, the Interactive Design Institute has grown to become one of the UK’s leading providers of accredited online courses in creative subjects.
Since 2008, we’ve been a partner of the University of Hertfordshire, adapting some of their most popular design degrees for online delivery – in that time we’ve enrolled over 1000 online students from more than 70 countries around the world.
In partnership with the University of Hertfordshire, IDI offers a range of degree courses in creative subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate level – including Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Design and Photography.
It’s our mission to give everyone the opportunity to get their degree in a creative subject, without having to attend on-campus. Key to our success is our understanding that students studying online require more support, not less.
Our focus on maintaining high standards of online tuition and support continues to produce results. In the most recent academic year 73% of our undergraduate students gained a 2:1 or above, and 87% of our Masters graduates achieved commendation or distinction.
At IDI we’re passionate about helping our students fulfill their creative potential, and many of our graduates have gone on to great success in a wide variety of roles: Art Directors, freelance designers, digital illustrators, lecturers, producer/directors, founders of graphic and interior design firms and many, many more.We also give our students the opportunity to enter live award briefs and international student design awards as part of their studies, with past IDI students enjoying success in competitions such as the D&AD Awards, Adobe Achievement Awards and more.
The Global Student Satisfaction Awards empower students across the globe to determine the best universities of 2019. By rating institutions on a scale from 1 to 5, on multiple studies-related questions, we found the top educators in the world.Learn more about the Global Student Satisfaction Awards
