History

Founded in 1962, Newbury College is a private, independent college located just minutes from Boston in the Fisher Hill neighborhood of Brookline, Massachusetts

Education

Services

Housing services

  • Housing is guaranteed for all new first year students who meet application and deposit deadlines. Housing is available for upper-class students through the housing lottery process held during the spring semester. 
  • Housing is located at our Brookline campus, or at one of our residence hall locations in Coolidge Corner or Audubon Circle. 
  • Newbury College offers a variety of different housing options which include: single (upper-class only), double, triple, or quad rooms. 

Library services

The Margaret M. Winslow Library is located in the lower level of the Student Success Center. While our Service Desk, print collections, and staff offices are housed in the Success Center, much of what we offer is available online.

Massachusetts Law requires all students who will be enrolling at a college in Massachusetts to have adequate health and accident insurance.

Campus life

Located in Brookline, Massachusetts, just three miles from downtown Boston, our campus is easily accessible by car or public transportation. 

Student clubs

Newbury College offers a wide variety of student organizations in which students can participate. These offerings are student driven, and reflect the types of groups our current students like to see. Student Involvement can assist groups of students who are interested in forming new organizations. As a result, the College's student organizations are responsive to student needs and dynamic in changing to meet the needs of our changing world.
