About

History

When the cornerstone was laid for Siena Hall on June 20, 1938, Fr. Plassmann announced that the fledgling institution would be known as St. Bernardine of Siena College in honor of the noted fifteenth-century Franciscan preacher and missionary. Siena Hall hosted classrooms and laboratories, faculty and administrative offices, a library, a bookstore, a cafeteria and a chapel.

Education

With 36 majors, 80-plus minors and certificates, and prestigious joint-degree programs in liberal arts, science and business, Saints have over 1,200 unique ways to reach their personal and professional goals. But that’s just the beginning.

Research

Siena College values classroom learning and high-impact, hands-on learning. That’s why we established our Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (CURCA).

Student Reviews

amelioration of education skills
Provided by ESN rated 5 out of 5 stars

Through my study experience I got much more professional and educational knowledge about finance as well as improved my data visualisation skills. In addition, collaboration with my foreign peers during lessons and creation of projects gave me opportunity to ameliorate my outlook and learn new ideas.

If these points will be improved will be better

Overall, I am very satisfied with the teaching programme of my university, there are some points which could be improved. For example, the interactions between teachers and students could be more stronger, in the case if the student has the problem or questions. In my case it is a bit difficult to find professor, because they have just 1 time in a week their office time,...
