Established concurrently with the restructuring of the Hungarian higher education system, Kaposvár University was founded on the 1st of January, 2000, by the joint decision and fusion of its founder legal predecessors, integrating two faculties and two research institutes.
Currently, education and research activities are carried out in four faculties: (Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Economic Science, Faculty of Pedagogy and Rippl-Rónai Faculty of Arts) and in three partner institutes: the Pannon Equestrian Academy, the Feed Crops Research Institute, and the Bőszénfa Game Management and Landscape Center, where the scientific work is supported by the most modern equipment.

The University Library of Kaposvár University is located in the middle of the university campus, on a total surface of 1700 m2, with its two large readings rooms, free WiFi, 150 patron seats and some technology services (computer use, photocopying, printing) available for the library members. The library stock consists of about 200 000 documents and most of them are held in public areas.

Snack bar, computer and multimedia rooms, and a gym with a sauna make the students’ life more comfortable. The centre of the University is located in approximately eight-acres and is considered to be the most beautiful campus in Hungary.
Met a lot of people who I can work with but the education itself not so good.
The degree is not challenging and offers much free time which could be used both on leisure activities and self-development (I chose the latter).
