History
Established in Hong Kong in 1963, it is the first business school to offer BBA, MBA and Executive MBA programs in the region. The School has about 4,400 full-time and part-time students and has the largest business school alumni network in Hong Kong, with over 30,000 alumni worldwide.
Education
The CUHK Business School attaches great importance to teaching and learning. We are committed to continuously improve the educational quality in order to ensure that the best education is provided for students.
The Business School offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, as well as executive education. The Business School comprises two schools – Accountancy and Hotel & Tourism Management; and four departments – Finance, Decision Sciences & Managerial Economics, Management and Marketing.
Research
While our faculty members' research interests are extensive, a special focus of our research efforts rests on emerging economies in Asia, China in particular. With its historical roots in the Chinese mainland and since its inception in 1963, CUHK has established strong and mutually benecial relationships with key universities and academic staff, research institutions and other prominent bodies in the Chinese mainland.
Such relationships also provide an invaluable opportunity for staff and students to remain abreast of the leading developments in the Chinese business world, to conduct research, and to form links that will be valuable in their future careers.Career

Located in the Cheng Yu Tung Building, it has these teaching facilities:
- a world-class Finance Trading Laboratory regarded as one of the best in the world. The lab has 53 work stations equipped with Bloomberg and Reuters terminals and real-time data feed from the major stock exchanges of the world including New York, Europe and Hong Kong.
- a Marketing Engineering Lab jointly established by the School and IBM. The lab is equipped with Big Data marketing software and cloud computing (donated by IBM).
