Besides the academic programs KJU also offers a wide range of post-secondary, LLP courses for trainers and trainees as well as international semesters, summer courses, study tours and internship programs.
Research
- The University carries out its research and development activities within the framework of the applied research service model of RIQ & Lead.
- The model is based on the service science and service quality perspectives. An essential element of this model is that it builds on the EU, national and local program development of multilevel governance research and innovation, cohesion, small businesses, services and social innovation. The research strategy is tailored to EU programming, refining the actual research tasks into its two-year call cycles.

Student services
- From enrollment to graduation, our students participate in our personalized mentoring program. As part of the PIQ&Lead ™ Personal program, our institution provides regular mentoring and counseling services.
- Academic counseling for students covers the areas of student well-being, personal career development, and academic support. Each mentor works with a small group of students to act as an internal mentor and coach. All incoming students are automatically enrolled in a mentor group so that they can move on to special communities as needed.
Housing services
- We know that one of the greatest challenges of studying abroad is to ensure safe, well-equipped accommodation for your stay. This is why for the start of your studies KJU only recommends pre-checked accommodation at our contracted partners' facilities.
- The moment you feel comfortable enough in Budapest and feel like you know the city, you are free to choose a different accommodation if you wish, but regardless, we make sure you have a place to stay.
Medical services
Having valid health insurance during your stay in Hungary is recommended for several reasons. First and foremost, it's a must for the application of the study visa and residence permit and it is also necessary when applying for an extension. In addition, it is important since otherwise, you will not be able to receive medical care when in need, or high sums must be paid after every treatment.

- KJU awaits students with a colorful sports palette. Those looking for active exercise will have the opportunity to play football, table tennis, badminton, basketball, tennis, teqball, teqpong, streetball and join the Kodolányi Running Team. During the opening hours, KJU's fitness facilities and sports equipment can be used by students without restriction and free of charge.
- KJU ski camps have a history of more than 25 years. This family-oriented activity welcomes students, teachers, their family members, and friends. Our rector is always among the participants, too.
Student clubs
KJU Students’ Union is working for the students and their well-being. It is a broad-based organization of members elected by the students of the university, whose main task is to represent the interests of the students and to ensure the flow of information between the students and the units of the institution. It also focuses on enriching the students’ educational, sport and social life by organizing social events, of which the most important and biggest is the annually organized Freshmen’s Camp.

Actually I have just started studying. I have been studying for two months now. I can say that am truly lucky to be studying at Kodolanyi University. Am learning a lot from my very talented and experienced professors.

It was a great experience because university has experienced and Qualified Professors. Unfortunately, because of pandemic we could not continue the study at the campus. Online classes experience was also good.
