Services

Housing services

We have a variety of outreach activities available for pupils of all ages, in topics relating to human and physical geography, geology and environmental science.

In addition to running a programme of larger events throughout the year, we also try to accommodate requests for visits, talks and workshops from individual schools.

We are particularly interested in supporting schools who have large cohorts of students from the first generation of their family to consider higher education.

ICT services

The Faculty IT support team was established in 2009 to provide a consistent IT service across the Faculty, and to provide a mechanism to implement University IT initiatives in the Faculty of Environment.

Faculty IT provides support around 3 key areas:

  • Microsoft Windows systems
  • Unix systems
  • Web systems

Accreditation

The School of Earth and Environment's BSc and MEnv in Sustainability and Environmental Management has been accredited by the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA) as an ‘Associate Certificate’ course.
