S P Jain School of Global Management was established in 2004 by Mr. Nitish Jain, however the school’s history dates to 1981 when its sister institution was established in Mumbai, India. Nitish Jain continued the legacy of his visionary grandfather, philanthropist Shriyans Prasad Jain, and established S P Jain School of Global Management with the objective of educating global business leaders.
Business may be universal, but there is no universal way of doing business. A conventional business education may give you the skills to excel in one country, but what about all the others? Our multi-country learning model provides a unique opportunity for global exposure and experience through activities, both inside and outside the classroom. How you do business in Dubai is so different from how you do business in Singapore, Australia or even the United States. You may be a great success in your home country, but a miserable failure in another if you have not understood that business practices, political systems and consumer preferences can differ.
Employers in virtually every field seek two key skills in their employees: leadership and decision-making. Our strong focus in these areas gives our students an edge in the workforce. Today, S P Jain graduates are working at organizations like the Boston Consulting Group, P&G, Google, Amazon, Facebook Apple, World Economic Forum, Nike, Barclays and MasterCard.
