
Overview
By taking the Sport Media degree at Toronto Metropolitan University , you’ll study issues and concepts informing and shaping the sport industry’s future. Toronto is home to Canada’s media hub and home to many professional and amateur sports teams. As part of the RTA School of Media, you’ll gain hands-on experience and career preparation with access to elite internships, guest speakers, state-of-the-art technology at the Sportsnet RTA Production Centre in the Mattamy Athletic Centre, live sports events and an optional minor in Business Essentials.

After Graduation
Graduate with the specialized skills to score big in the dynamic world of sport media, including live sports broadcasting or on-air hosting; professional league and sport federation operations; sport entertainment management or documentary production, features production and long-form sport journalism; and media entrepreneurship or graphic design. Work as a video producer, sports journalist, broadcast executive, marketing manager or agent, or pursue graduate studies in media production, sport management or psychology, business, marketing or journalism.
