Overview

Chemistry students from The University of Texas at Arlington will learn instrumentation and synthetic methods using state-of-the-art instrumentation. In addition, students will develop critical thinking skills, communication skills, and collaboration skills crucial for career success. We recommend the BS in chemistry for undergraduates wanting to pursue graduate study in chemistry or careers in the chemical industry. Students who wish to teach chemistry in secondary education can pursue the BA in chemistry.
