This four-year Linguistics and Japanese Studies course at University of Sheffield is run jointly by the School of English and the School of East Asian Studies. The Japanese side of the course combines intensive study of the Japanese language (from beginner level) with modules on Japan and East Asia.

Overview

We offer a bachelor degree in Linguistics and Japanese Studies at University of Sheffield . Your linguistics modules will teach you the analytical techniques and concepts that are essential for becoming a successful linguist. You'll spend the third year of your degree at one of our partner universities in Japan.
