- The objective of this Plastics Engineering program at Shenkar College is to teach the required knowledge and skillset for a polymers and plastics engineer, so that he/she could successfully join the industry in this multi-disciplinary profession, as well as carry out advanced research and development of various disciplines relating to this field.
Programme Structure
- Studies at The Department of Polymer Materials Engineering for a Master’s Degree result in a B.Sc. in Polymers & Plastics engineering, and registration in the engineers register as a “Polymer Engineer”.
- During their last year, students are required to present a final project, which is usually carried out in cooperation with the industry.

General requirements
Applicants for the engineering departments are required to a have a matriculation certificate and a psychometric score, as follows:
- Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering and Industrial Engineering and Management: a psychometric score of 620 or an average grade of 90 and above in external exams and in the final project in practical engineering studies, and a matriculation average of 85 (including bonuses).
- Master's program in Plastics Engineering / Industrial & Management Engineering: average of 80 in undergraduate studies.
