Programme Highlights

Studying abroad in Europe fosters language skills and intellectual growth as well as developing your breadth of perspective and employability. 

Year one of the Mathematics with Study in Continental Europe programme from University of Bristol consists of compulsory topics. In your second year you can choose some topics that are of particular interest to you, meaning you can continue with a varied degree or choose to specialise.

Provided you fulfil the progression requirements of the Study in Continental Europe course at the end of year two, you will spend your third year abroad in one of our partner universities, studying mathematics in a foreign language.You will return to Bristol to complete the third year of the degree, where you will benefit from a wide choice of units.

    PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) is a language test that enables students to demonstrate their writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills when applying to study in English. Delivered and marked by computer, it reports on a scale between 10 and 90.

General Requirements

  • A-level Standard offer: A A A including A A  in Mathematics and another mathematics-related subject; or A*AA including A* in Mathematics and A in Further Mathematics
  • A-level Contextual offer: AAA including Mathematics and another mathematics-related subject, or AAB including AA in Mathematics and Further Mathematics
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma Contextual offer: 36 points overall with 18 at Higher Level, including 6, 6 at Higher Level in Mathematics and another mathematics-related subject
  • Cambridge Pre-U offer: Requirements are as for A-levels, where Grade A* is D2, A is D3, B is M2, and C is M3
