The Accident Forensics program at CQUniversity Australia has been developed in consultation with Australia's leading accident investigation professionals and organisations, and government authorities that inform public safety strategies, allowing you to develop up-to-date industry skills.
Your education and training will focus on a variety of areas including accident phenomenology, investigation methods, forensic engineering, accident analysis and occupational health and safety. In addition you will develop skills to prevent the recurrence of accidents.
The unique program allows you to carry out practical investigation exercises in a new, state-of-the-art crash laboratory at CQUniversity Bundaberg. You will also benefit from taking part in work placement with practising accident investigators, ensuring you graduate work ready.

CQUniversity is an established provider of distance education and is able to offer a number courses and units in this mode that have not traditionally been available, such as nursing, medical science, exercise and sport sciences, accident forensics, paramedic science and more.

Work integrated learning
CQUniversity's health courses and units feature work integrated learning, or learning on the job. For some courses this may be referred to as clinical placement.
You may be required to complete unit undertakings in real-life workplaces, allowing you to put learning directly into practice. This hands-on, project-based learning is one reason CQUniversity graduates are in such high demand by employers.
Quality facilities ensure learning is delivered in context, taught in a similar setting to real-world situations including exceptional simulation environments. New facilities including state-of-the-art technology for fitness and body function testing offer exercise and sport sciences students sophisticated training. Nursing students have access to fully equipped labs replicating a real hospital ward, while medical imaging and medical sonography are taught from new purpose-built multi-million dollar labs. The new CQUniversity Health Clinic at CQUniversity Rockhampton also provides clinical learning experiences to students.
Completing the Bachelor of Accident Forensics prepares you to pursue management and consultancy roles within safety and accident investigation teams. You will also be qualified to practise in accident forensics and work inrelated occupational health and safety roles.

Minimum required score (Grade B2):
C1 Advanced is a Cambridge English Qualification. It reports on the Cambridge English Scale between 142 and 210. You will receive a separate score for each of the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and for Use of English. These five scores are averaged to give you an overall result for the exam. Universities and colleges may ask you to achieve a specific score, either overall or for a particular skill.
Note: degree programmes and applications may require a more specific minimum score for admission.
