Profile of the Pharmacy program from University of Nicosia:

The role of pharmacists is very important for health as they are the experts in the field of medicines. The curriculum is fully in line with the modern European standards and requirements and it is structured in a way to provide the graduate with the contemporary academic background, the scientific knowledge and all skills needed to become a successful pharmacist.

The course aims to provide all the pharmaceutical knowledge, related to the chemistry, the technology the activity and safety of drugs, in order for the graduates to be able to apply their knowledge to therapeutics for the benefit of patients.

Career Prospects:

Potential employment opportunities include a community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics industry, regulatory affairs.

Access to Further Studies:

Graduates will be able to continue for postgraduate studies in the field of their choice. At present the University of Nicosia does not offer graduate programs in pharmacy

    The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading).   • Minimum required score:

    65

    The TOEFL – or Test Of English as a Foreign Language – offers an internet-based test (iBT). The final, overall iBT score ranges between 0 and 120, and includes a scaled average from the four components (reading, listening, speaking, and writing). Read more about TOEFL (iBT).

Academic Requirements

  • The general admission requirement for entry to an undergraduate programme of study is a High School Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
