On this English and French (Hons)  at the University of Nottingham,you’ll study English language and literature, alongside the French language and culture. This includes modules in history, linguistics, literature and politics, as well as practical language work (bien sûr!). Even if you’re a beginner at French, an intensive beginners’ course will develop your language skills to degree level. 

The year abroad allows you to really live and become fluent in your language, studying at a French speaking university, or working in a school or on a work placement.


You will have developed a range of transferable skills including the ability to:
